Canon EF

Canon Lenses and Cameras that utilized the Canon EF lens mount. Introduced in 1987 The EF lens mount is the standard found on the Canon EOS family of DSLR cameras. Mechanically mounted to the camera, all communication is handled via electrical contacts. Automatic focusing of the EF lens is handled by a dedicated motor built into the lens body. There are no mechanical levers or plungers.
